Connect a Vaisala Weather Station to an Aeroqual System (VIDEO)

Hi, Mick from Spectro Technology here. Today I'm going to show you how to connect a Vaisala Weather Station to an Aeroqual System.

1. Take the cable and put it through the top of the pole.
2. Connect the Vaisala to it.
3. There's a certain orientation for the pins to go, so when you're connecting it needs to goes the right way in.
4. Tighten the sleeve all the way up. That can be an issue in the field if that comes loose.
5. Put the Vaisala on. You just snap it onto the top. And we have our Vaisala now on our pole.
6. Put that pole onto the Aeroqual System. The pole connects directly onto the tripod. Just push that in place.
7. Line up the holes. There is a screw that goes through the middle.
8. Once the screw is through, we're going to tighten it on the other side. And then you have your weather station in place.
9. Take the end of the cable and connect that to the quick connect orange out connector coming out of the Aeroqual System.
10. Again, there's a certain orientation for the pins. Do the same thing here and screw it all the way in so it's tight.
11. Check that it's working & you have the Vaisala fully connected.
12. Don't forget to turn the Vaisala to the north.
